How to make biscoff 2 layer cake

Hi everyone ! 

Hope your enjoying summer, today post is actually a recipe of a biscoff cake which I made. I personally love it but some don't so if you like those biscuit you get when you go to a cafe, keep reading ! 

Ingredients 

CAKE 

250g unsalted butter 

250g light brown sugar

250g self raising flour

3 eggs 

2tsp baking powder 

4tbsp of milk ( if needed ) 

This will make two layer 

Biscoff butter cream 

 150g unsalted butter 

200g icing sugar

2 big table spoons of biscoff smooth spread 

( add more or less for desired amount of icing and flavour ) 

Extras 

Biscoff biscuits 

Now how to make it-

1- heat oven to 180C and line two cake tins with baking paper to avoid sticking and leave to side.

2- Then in a bowl mix together with an electric whisk the butter and sugar until smooth. 

3- then add the flour, baking powder and egg and whisk or beat whatever working I used a bit of both. If the mixture a bit dry add some milk, I had to but see how it goes ! The mixture should be smooth and creamy.

4. Then evenly distribute the mixture between both tins and put in the oven for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown on top and when you stick a skewer in and it comes out clean then it's cooked.

REMEMBER BEFORE ICING YOU GOT TO LET THE CAKE COOL OR IT WILL BE A DIASTER ! I waited 10 mins with them in tin and then 45-1 hour to cool. 

Icing 

In a bowl start of by mixing just butter to cream up and then on a slow power keep mixing while you add the icing sugar. When all mixed up it should look smooth and like butter cream. Then add the biscoff spread and mix again to combine. Now have a taste test to see if you need to add more or add more icing sugar etc until your happy with you butter cream. 

Now to decorate-

Decorate how you desire, I didn't have any piping tubes but if you do there great I just used a palette knife to spread some in the middle, on top and made a wall around the cake out of the biscuits. 

Now for the finished cake

Top 5 Summer essentials

Hi everyone, hope your all well and that your having a FAB day. Today blog post is my first post in my summer  series which is " Top 5 Summer essentials ". So read on to find out what are mine and to inspire you if you don't have any of these. 

1. A water bottle- In the summer  the temperatures increase so to stay healthy and happy out in the sun its soooo important to drink plenty of water so you stay hydrated. Drinking lots of water also helps your skin to stay healthy as well and the sun rays damage your skin, so keep drinking! But let's be honest water isn't exactly exciting but what seems to help me is one either detox it up with fruit or finding a pretty water bottle, here's a few examples...

2. Sun cream- Bit of a classic but soo important you don't want to be in pain because you have a terrible sunburn and it's not a good look, looking like a tomatoe. Whenever your in a pool or sea you can still get burnt so find a sun cream so you can tan not burn. 

3. A summer scent- Eveyone needs a summer scent, for summer I love a fruity scent my go to at the moment is soap and glory super tonic orangeasm. What's your summer scent ? A body mist is perfect to just chuck in tou beach bag, which brings me onto my next point. 

4. A beach bag/bag for summer- With all these trips to the beach or road trips around the country we need a bag to rely on either a beach bag which can fit all your essentials or a backpack to store road trip snacks. Here some examples which you should consider picking up. 

5- A good upbeat playlist- Either at a summer party or at the pool summer is 10x better with a good playlist pumping in the background. So get over to Spotify and start adding some good songs which will make you feel good and have the summer vibes. Some of my favourites at the moment are

My Summer series ☀️

Hi everyone 

Sorry for not be active but I'm really going to spend more time on my blog with pictures etc and also putting video tutorials as well. Anyway I'm coming back with a summer series which I will call something just atm don't know what but if you got any ideas comment below!

Top 5 things that I've been loving

Hey everyone, at last I think Spring has finally sprung here in the UK and today has been lovely the sun is out and it's really warm. YAY. Anyway today post is 5 things I've been loving at the moment. Hope your having a good week, if not it's the weekend so relax and just chill. Now onto the post, hope you enjoy! 

1. The SUN 🌞

Like weather like today makes we really happy, it just gives you an extra push of happiness, like when it rains it sad but when the suns out everyone happy and you just want to get out into it, just hope it stays out, fingers crossed. Hope it's sunny where you are? 

2. New clothes ( shopping trips) 

As you know I've been shopping a lot recently and you will see what I've got if you go check out my channel as it will be coming out later today! But I like a fresh new wardrobe when Spring is here and I'm very happy with my new clothes! 

3. A clean start

It's no wonder that this spring I've had a good Spring clean of my room, I love every omece in a while having a good organise and refresh, it really makes your life more easier to work around and you feel more organised. Have you done your spring cleaning yet this year? 

4. Good food

You don't have to go out and slash the cash to have a real good meal, a homemade meal made with love for me taste just as good. But you can never beat a dinner out, for my birthday we went out for dinner and had some fantastic food and for me when my tummy is happy, I'm happy 😂

5. Friends and family 

Being around people which make me feel good about myself and all I want to do is smile. Surrounding myself with people I love which make me laugh is always a cure for a bad day. If your ever down do something that will make you smile, when your smiling you'll already feel 10x better. 

So these are 5 things that I've been loving recently. I've hoped you enjoyed and if you've had a bad day try doing something that will make you happy, like a dog walk or baking or going round friends. 

If you already have gone back on school, I hope it's gone well so far. I have to go back tomorrow, and man I don't want to, this holiday has gone soooo quickly. Whose with me!

March favourites

Hi guys

Hope you had a fabulous Easter and got lots of chocolate, as I did! Anyway hope you also having a great holiday. As you know March is coming to the end and soon April will be here, YAY my birthday month! March has been a really great month. It has been raining a lot in the UK but their have been times of Spring like weather ie sun and flowers. I can't wait for spring to be properly here and I really want to get some new bedroom decor. Anyway now onto the post. Hope you enjoy 😊

Beauty

- Collection perfection concealer 

Does what it says on the package literally last all day and covers dark circles and blemishes really well and it can also be used as a highlighter. For such a cheap price can't see anything wrong.

- Mac lipstick in shade Peach blossom 

This is my first Mac lipstick that I got for a present and it lovely natural nude, it last all day and is really nice finish on your lips. Can't wait to buy more and I definitely think those worth the money. Which shades do you recommend let me know. 

Skincare

- Botanics foaming cleansing face wash 

I've had this for a while but this month I've been really loving it, it's super gentle and lifts off makeup easily and leaves your face feeling refreshed so a big thumbs up from me. 

Home decor

- My new cactus (Fred!) 

So I've been wanting to get a cactus for a while and finally have, I'm rubbish with keeping plants alive so I thought a low mantaince plant would be perfect like a cactus and also their soo tumblr, so get ready to see Instagram picture of Fred! 

- IKEA metal draws

I absolutely love them, their soo great for storage and very easy to move as on wheels. I store my nail varnishes, earrings, makeup, electrical stuff, planner goodies and travel beauty bags. If you guys would like a tour let me know.

Fashion

- Pineapple skirt from Primark £2 ( on sale )

Like honestly I saw it was £2 and had pineapples, I was going to buy it. It was a super soft material and really nice length but need to find a top to wear with it, mission excepted! 

Not a very good picture the pineapples are more yellow! 

- Brogue type shoes 

I got these from my cousin and I already love them, their brown and soo stylish and classy and I really like them either for going  out for dinner or a trip into town. I also been wanting a pair like these for a while and thrilled that I've got them now !

- Light pink tassled bag 

I also got this for my birthday as I had an early party and I'm in love, it has so many storage spaces and an awesome pocket in the front. It's much smaller but I like that. If you wanted a more in detailed post let me know and I can do that. 

Random 

- Easter eggs

This should be everyone favourite and I'm such a chocoholic so extra chocolate makes me soo happy and I have a sugar rush so fun for everyone else, what's your favourite type of chocolate ? Mine mist be milk! 

- Revison book thing 

Sadly summer exam are coming and I wanted to get some Revison stuff ready and I saw this is whsmiths and thought it was really clever, it's quite big with dividers so will be perfect for when I start revising ! It was only £3.99, so great value for something so useful. I can do a blogpost on study tips and hacks.

- Unicorn pen 

OMG it's so freakin cute, I carry it in my bag, it's a perfect size, yeah and it's a unicorn pen like who wouldn't want one!

My Birthday Wishlist

Hi everyone, nearly the Easter holidays, YAY. But first of all thanks to you the readers for so many pageviews it's crazy so I thought you deserved a post! So today post is going to be a birthday Wishlist as my birthday is coming up in April. Ahh I'm turning a teen 13. So these are the things I'm asking for and I can tell you I'm not expecting all of this but I thought I would let you know and if your birthday soon this would give you some ideas. Hope you enjoy and keep reading.

1. Copper lamp, 

Well I saw these in several shops and really like them and want them for my bedroom. Here's a picture

Makeup- From America

Well my parents are going to New York and I want them to bring me back some makeup and stuff from America like The Naked Palette, Nars and others also stuff from Bath and Body Works and of course Target.

Music 

Little mix latest album

Jacks wills perfume or body mist 

I wanted to purchase one befor Christmas but never got round to it so now I really want it as love the smell.

Michael Kors perfume- The citrus one I think!

I saw it in Swansea and loved the smell and packaging and really want.a fruity perfume for spring/summer.

Tripod- Mainly for my YouTube as is such a struggle trying to film with just my IPad.

Clamp Light/ Ring light 

Living in Britain causes problems as is soo dark especially in my room so some lighting would be useful!

Fairy lights- I already have some but I want to put more round my room so I can make a good background etc and of course to have a tumblr room!

Planner stickers- I've been wanting to use my planner lots this year but want to get some cute stickers from etsy or paperchase to make my planner look more inviting and of course cute. If I do expect planner post coming soon. Comment if you want them.

A line a day journal

This year I've been trying to be positive and happy and really want to treasure this year so recording highlights in a book is some thig I really ant to try and upkeep.

Happiness Planner

I already have a paperchase planner which I use for daily stuff and another planner for YouTube/blog but I really want to get a happiness planner so I can write down good things their so I can mane this a great year and of course a Instagram worthy picture.

LUSH

Pretty self explanatory but I'm running low but it's alright I'm having a lush party soon so I can stock up and of course my friends never let me down.

High waisted jeans 

I've been wanting to get some for a while but have been waiting for my birthday as I didn't want to pay the cash but really like the ones from New Look in a darkish blue or light washed style. 

Frends headphones 

Well this is quite an expensive one but I've heard really good things about them and really need some new headphone and love the look. I love how they look and the packaging and of course want the rose gold ones! 

Finally Money and vouchers and food
